InnovaFeed and Lidl commit to reduce dependence on imported soybeans

InnovaFeed joins forces with Lidl and Earthworm to provide concrete solutions and reduce our dependence on imported soybeans.

Less than a year after the launch of this working group, no less than 4 value chains – poultry, egg, pork and milk – are scheduled for commercialization in autumn 2021, thanks to the commitment of leaders of the industry Metex Nøøvistago, Novial Animal Nutrition, Noriap and the Hauts-de-France Chamber of Agriculture.

InnovaFeed is particularly proud to join the Soy Innovation working group alongside Lidl and Earthworm, to offer healthy and sustainable natural solutions from insects to imported soybeans, all the more important work in a regulatory context in full swing. evolution, with the authorization by Europe of insect proteins in feed for poultry and pigs, which will come into force from the third quarter of 2021.

A regulatory change that supports a more circular agriculture and improves the resilience of our food systems, in line with the European Commission’s Farm2Fork strategy, thereby helping Europe to reduce its dependence on protein and the associated importation of deforestation.
